Join us in this program to explore your strategic side and develop your skills in some of the most popular games of all time. Together, we’ll learn how to play some of the classic games of strategy like Chess, Risk, Monopoly, Checkers, Card Games and more. Students will learn strategies and tactics while gaining the confidence to play against any opponent, and will come away with a new appreciation and respect for some of the most wonderful games ever invented.

Note to Parents: While this program is suitable to those with little to no experience, older children with some experience will also be challenged with more advanced strategy and gamesmanship. Board games are rich in learning opportunities and great for developing social skills.

For over 20 years, Ms. Grabke has taught numerous violin students at Havergal College, the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Grabke violin studio. She is passionate about nurturing young talents and instilling the love of music in her students. Ms. Grabke is a member of The National Ballet of Canada Orchestra and a teacher for the Hammer Ban. She has worked with many great artists, recorded CDs and with CBC. 
In Owen Strings, your child will learn the basics of violin playing. Continual enrollment in the program will strengthen their playing. There is a $30.00 violin rental fee for each term. The violin can be kept between terms with a written note of promise to continue next term.

In this unique program students will first create a comic book story using a variety of characters, animals, cars, toys and popular action figures. They will learn how to take photos using high quality HD CAMERAS, and create their comic book pages, adding speech bubbles, special effects, title pages and more!  Once their comic book is complete, students will move on to the editing process, learning how to add sound effects, music, credits and even their own voice recordings to bring their story and characters to life. They will also create a high quality movie trailer of their video comic book movie.  At the end of the program each student will receive both projects to take home on a BRAND NEW USB KEY!

This program is designed to challenge students in a fun, non-competitive environment as they design and create their own unique video games. Throughout the program, students will create up to 5 different video games. For each game, they’ll learn how to add characters, obstacles, backgrounds, and multiple skill levels.  Students will also be able to fully customize their title pages, high-score boards, instruction pages and cheat codes. At the end of the program each student will receive a copy of everyone’s video games to take home on a BRAND NEW USB KEY!

On the Move gets children exercising through sports and play. We combine Fitness, Dance (Zumba) and Active Games such as Balloon and Bouncy Ball games, Parachute, Limbo, Obstacle Course, Animal Races.

Be active and have fun! These fitness classes are rocking, high-energy dance parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Cumbia and more.

These classes increase focus and build self-confidence, boost metabolism and enhance coordination.

Exercise helps improve mood, helps kids focus on learning, keeps kids from becoming overweight and helps develop strong bones and muscles!

Join the Explore It! team for this new, and completely revamped Junior Musical Theatre Programme and become a theatrical success! In our 90 minute sessions,we’ll explore theatre games,character building, dance and movement and - of course,we’ll learn and rehearse some of the best broadway numbers around. From toe tapping music to creative choreography, our goal is to give even the youngest performers a truly professional theatrical experience. Participants will learn about music and performance basics, rehearsing with our talented crew and finish with a short performance in front of an audience. For the Winter 2018 term,we will be performing Songs From Broadway --with a focus on the best songs from hit Broadway shows through the years. This program challenges students to design and create a variety of different themed Lego® creations. Throughout the program, students will learn the basics of building and exploring the possibilities that exist with LEGO creations.  Each class students will be given a new Lego® challenge and theme to work with. They will have 10 minutes to plan out their creations, and another 45 minutes to put them together.  At the end of each class, students will use HD digital cameras to take different angled photos of all their creations.  At the End of the Program, Students will receive a brand new USB key to take home with a slide show movie of all their LEGO creation photos. This is a one of a kind LEGO Experience!

The program consists of over 30 rhetorical activities, each designed to hone different communication skills.  Lessons are delivered via projection; they are fun, colourful, fast-paced and highly stimulating for young minds.  With fun at the centre, in this program kids will learn to come up with ideas, express those ideas, listen to others, work together, answer tough questions, tell stories, recount personal anecdotes, memory enhancement, non-verbal communication and a whole lot more!

TenTen Sports Academy’s active and fun Multi Sport Program consists of the following three sports: Soccer, tennis, and basketball. Participants spend two lessons participating in each sport.
